This Agreement (“Terms”) governs your access to and use of our websites and services, including purchases made directly from us. By visiting our site(s) or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Purchases made on marketplaces (e.g., Etsy, eBay, Amazon Handmade) are additionally governed by those platforms’ policies.

1) Acceptance & Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state/province (or have parental consent) to use our Services. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the site(s) or place orders.

2) Accounts & Information You Provide

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information (including email, payment, and shipping details) and to update it as needed. We may refuse or cancel any order for suspected fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

3) Custom & Handmade Products

Most items are made-to-order and customized based on your inputs (text, colors, options). Minor variations in color, texture, carving depth, and finish are normal with handmade processes and different screens.

  • Proofs/Approvals (when provided): Review carefully. Your approval authorizes production. After approval, changes/cancellations are not guaranteed and may incur fees or be unavailable if production has begun.
  • Customer-Provided Content: You represent that you have all rights/permissions to use any text, logos, or artwork you provide and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

4) Pricing, Payment & Taxes

Prices are in USD and may change without notice. Payment is due at checkout through available methods (e.g., credit card, PayPal, platform checkouts).

  • Taxes/Duties: You’re responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, customs duties, or import fees. International recipients are responsible for all import charges.

5) Production Times, Shipping & Risk of Loss

Estimated lead times are shown on product pages or at checkout and begin after we have all final approvals/details.

  • Carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx (selection based on size/destination).
  • Delivery Issues: Risk of loss transfers to you upon carrier acceptance. We are not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or damage in transit; however, we will assist with claims where possible.
  • Address Accuracy: You are responsible for correct addresses. Returned/redirected packages may require additional shipping fees to reship.
  • International: Transit times and customs processing vary by country.

6) Returns, Replacements & Order Changes

Because all of our products are custom-made, returns and cancellations are not accepted. We stand behind the quality of our work and will correct any mistakes made on our part.

  • No Cancellations or Changes: Once an order is placed, it immediately enters our design and preparation process. We do not allow cancellations or design changes after purchase. This policy protects the time and creative work invested in the design phase and prevents unauthorized use of our artwork or layouts.
    • Any design proofs or previews shared with you before production are for review only.
    • All downloadable design previews in our online app are watermarked to protect our intellectual property.
  • Report Issues Within 7 Days: If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with clear photos of the issue (product, packaging, and shipping label). We’ll review and offer a solution such as a replacement, repair, or partial refund.
  • Non-Returnable: Custom/personalized items, used items, and any product modified after delivery are not eligible for return or refund.

7) Colors, Finishes & Tolerances

We make reasonable efforts to represent colors/finishes accurately, but screen/device differences and paint/finish batches may vary. Minor cosmetic variances inherent to handmade goods are not considered defects.

8) Reviews & Communications

We may send automated review or follow-up emails after purchase. You can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by contacting us. Marketing emails are sent only in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

9) Intellectual Property & Content License

  • Our IP: All site content, product photos, designs, and artworks are owned by Maidenwood Signs & Crafts LLC or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or distribute without written consent.
  • Your Content License: You grant us a non-exclusive license to use your provided text/artwork solely to fulfill your order and to display photos of finished work in our portfolio/marketing, unless you opt out in writing before shipment.

We may use or link to third-party tools/sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11) Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the site(s) for unlawful activity; to infringe IP rights; to upload malware; to scrape, spam, or harvest data; or to interfere with security features or site operations.

12) Disclaimer of Warranties

Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation, nor warrant that results will meet your expectations, beyond those required by law.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Maidenwood Signs & Crafts LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Maidenwood Signs & Crafts LLC harmless from claims arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Services, or (c) content you submit (e.g., infringing artwork).

15) Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, supply disruptions, carrier issues, strikes, acts of God, government actions).

16) Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes means you accept the new Terms.

17) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. Venue for any dispute shall be in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
